August 14 ,2025

Santiago, August 14, 2025 – The British-Chilean Chamber of Commerce (BritCham Chile), through its Human Capital Committee, held the session “AI and its Impact on HR” today. This session analyzed how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the world of work and organizational processes.

The event featured a distinguished participation by Roberto Guldenaar, Digital and Artificial Intelligence Manager in the Technology team at PwC Chile, who shared his vision of the role of this technology in everyday life and in the professional environment.

In his presentation, Guldenaar emphasized that “AI will continue to expand rapidly and will become a cross-cutting layer of business, with massive adoption in all areas and processes of organizations over the coming years.” He also presented concrete examples of current AI uses, such as facial recognition, delivery route optimization, fraud detection, voice recognition, demand prediction, inventory management, content personalization, medical diagnosis, and customer review analysis.

BritCham Chile expressed its gratitude to its members for their participation in this event, as well as the commitment of Verónica Oquendo, Vice President of the Human Capital Committee, and Elle Denton, Executive Director of BritCham Chile.

The next session of the Human Capital Committee will be held in September, and its topics will be announced shortly.
