Tuesday, May 6th, we held a new session of the Finance and Capital Markets Committee of the Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce, hosted at the offices of our member HSBC.
On this occasion, we had the distinguished participation of Roberto Izikson, CEO of Cadem, who shared an in-depth analysis of Chile’s current political, economic, and social landscape in the lead-up to the Presidential Elections this November. 📊🗳️
During the meeting, Roberto addressed key topics such as public perception, the role of youth, political leadership, and the prevailing climate of insecurity—factors that shape the country’s current context.
💬 He also offered a clear perspective on the role of leadership beyond traditional ideological lines, highlighting the importance of both proximity and authority, and how security has emerged as a top priority for citizens today.

Last Thursday, April 3rd, the first session of the “CEO Vision” series, part of the Finance and Capital Markets Committee of the Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce, took place. 💹
📌 On this occasion, we had the distinguished participation of Renzo Vercelli, CEO of AFP Capital, who addressed key aspects related to the implementation of the pension reform in Chile.
“This is a mega-reform, with many implications. There are several issues with subheadings still to be defined, and a lot of fine print yet to be written. These definitions are extremely important,” the executive stated during the meeting held at the offices of NLD ABOGADOS.
📝 Don’t miss the next session of “CEO Vision,” a conversation series that brings together renowned speakers from across the corporate ecosystem, organized every two months by BritCham.

The Financial Innovation Awards (PIF) are an outstanding initiative of our Finance and Capital Markets Committee. Launched for the first time last year, the PIFs aim to identify, showcase and celebrate best practices in innovative financial projects that are distinguished by opening new markets, exploring novel investment options, bringing financial instruments closer to underserved sectors of the population, incorporating good practices in environmental, sustainability and governance issues and, in general, for its positive social impact.
If you are part of a company or financial institution with innovative projects, don’t miss the opportunity to participate in the PIF! We are looking for those initiatives that are revolutionizing the financial world and generating a positive impact on our society.
The PIFs are a showcase to publicize your project, share your achievements and receive the recognition you deserve. Furthermore, by participating, you will have the opportunity to connect with experts from the financial, academic and business fields, expand your network of contacts and enhance your visibility in the sector.
Applications will open in June and we want to know about your project. Soon we will upload a link where you will find the general bases and participation requirements.
This is your opportunity to show the financial world your capacity for innovation and your commitment to sustainability!
