BritCham Chile celebrates its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Members

Santiago, June 11, 2025. The British-Chilean Chamber of Commerce (BritCham Chile) held its Annual General Meeting of Members yesterday, a key event in which the most relevant milestones of 2024 were reviewed, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to promoting bilateral trade between Chile and the United Kingdom, sustainability, and business collaboration.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors was renewed, confirming the continuation of Christopher Lyon as President of BritCham Chile, as well as that of directors Eleanor Blyth and María Javiera Contreras Abarca. The Chamber sincerely appreciates their leadership, dedication, and contribution to institutional development.
The financial statement for 2024 was also presented, reflecting solid, transparent management aligned with the Chamber’s strategic objectives, allowing us to confidently project future challenges.
As part of the program, the Assembly featured the special participation of former Minister of Finance Ignacio Briones Rojas, who was the guest of honor at the traditional members’ luncheon. In his address, he shared a broad and thoughtful view of the economic, social, and institutional challenges facing the country in the current climate.
