The Education budget increases by 4.2% by 2024, which is equivalent to an increase of 597 billion pesos. These resources will be used mainly to continue facing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this way, the investment of 30 billion pesos was approved to continue strengthening the Educational Reactivation Plan that contemplates 3 axes: strengthening learning: assistance and reconnection: coexistence and mental health.

In addition, 12 billion pesos will form a Fund for Educational Reactivation, to promote the reintegration of students who have abandoned the school system, and almost 7 billion pesos will be used for contingencies regarding infrastructure of the Local Public Education Services (SLEP)

It will also benefit 39 thousand new students who will be able to access it free of charge, which will allow them to continue with the help of the Food Scholarship for Higher Education (BAES), which will have an increase reaching the amount of $45,000 per student, which means a budget of $296 billion. Likewise, JUNAEB’s feeding program will increase by 11%
