Santiago, September 2025  – The British-Chilean Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate the convening of its Sustainability Committee, which was attended by José Miguel Benavente, Executive Vice President of CORFO. At the meeting, held at the Providencia headquarters of the Catholic University of Valparaíso, the executive presented CORFO’s progress on its four strategic pillars: decarbonization, innovation, natural capital, and lithium, topics developed in various working groups within the organization.

The event included welcoming remarks from Laura Landeta, President of the BritCham Chile Sustainability Committee, who highlighted the committee’s initiatives during the year, the upcoming challenges, and extended an invitation to participate in the RIGS (Recognition in Innovation and Sustainability Management) program, a Chamber initiative that is now open to applications.
