Santiago, September 2025 – The British-Chilean Chamber of Commerce (BritCham Chile) successfully held the third session of its CEO Vision series, an event organized by the Finance and Capital Markets Committee. The event seeks to bring senior executives closer to the business community to share experiences, challenges, and projections related to the management of leading companies in their sectors.
This session featured Arturo Le Blanc, General Manager of Transelec, who presented the company’s growth strategy and progress in its main lines of business: electricity transmission, energy storage, and water supply.
The executive highlighted flagship projects such as the Monte Mina transmission system, Codelco’s Northern District water supply system, the Centinela (AMSA) project, and the Copec Solar Farm storage system. He also highlighted Transelec’s role as a strategic partner in the development and management of critical linear infrastructure in Chile.
During his presentation, Le Blanc also addressed the company’s decision to diversify into the water sector, highlighting that this step reflects the strengths accumulated in its infrastructure experience, which has allowed it to make a significant contribution as a consortium.
The General Manager of Transelec also warned about the regulatory challenges facing the industry: “Project approval processes in Chile take a long time. The standards are high, but the lack of certainty regarding deadlines and results represents a problem for investors and for the development of new initiatives.”
The day concluded with a discussion and networking session among executives, partners, and representatives from different productive sectors.
The next CEO Vision session will be held on October 16 and will feature José Ignacio Lathrop, General Manager of Marsh Chile.
