BritCham Chile Human Capital Committee Explores AI in the Workplace and its Impact on HR

Santiago, Chile – 14 August 2025. The British Chilean Chamber of Commerce (BritCham Chile), through its Human Capital Committee, hosted an insightful session on “AI in the Workplace and its Impact on Human Resources”, held at PwC Chile’s offices in Las Condes.
The activity featured Roberto Guldenaar, Manager of Digital and Artificial Intelligence at PwC Chile’s Technology team, who delivered a presentation on how Generative AI, advanced analytics and digital transformation are reshaping the future of human capital management. The session was opened by Christian Blanchard, Human Capital Director of PwC, who highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to providing members with strategic insights on emerging technologies.
During the presentation, Guldenaar outlined:
How Generative AI and data-driven architectures are transforming HR functions.
Practical use cases in industries such as mining, energy, oil & gas, and real estate.
Opportunities and challenges for organisations adopting cutting-edge platforms like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Google Cloud.
The event concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, where participants explored the implications of AI for organisational culture, employee experience, and the future of work.

The Committee also announced its next activity on 24 September, focused on “Success Stories of AI in the Workplace”, continuing the dialogue on how innovation is transforming human capital practices
