The British-Chilean Chamber of Commerce, BritCham Chile, invites its members and their families to apply for the International Short Program: UAI in Cambridge, 800 Years of Architecture for Education, organized by Adolfo Ibáñez University. This academic experience will take place between August 30 and September 8, 2025, and will be held at the University of Cambridge, one of the most prestigious and oldest educational institutions in the world.
The program focuses on the analysis of how architecture has expressed and transformed educational models over the centuries, promoting critical and reflective observation based on direct experience. This will also be the first time that UAI will exhibit the architecture of its campuses in the Gothic Chapel of King’s College, as part of a series of discussions that will include prominent international and national architects, including José Cruz Ovalle, National Architecture Prize winner.
Among the program’s key features are exclusive visits to historic and contemporary buildings in Cambridge and London, privileged access to academic spaces of significant heritage value, accommodation in Ibis hotels with breakfast included, train transfers, welcome and farewell lunches, an opening ceremony at King’s College, and mandatory travel insurance. The program is valid for UAI courses such as Art History or DIS126: Theory and Trends in Design.
The initiative is open not only to university students but also to BritCham members and family members, who can access the program with the UAI value. This is a unique opportunity for those seeking to combine internationalization, architecture, and education in an academic environment of excellence.
Applications will be open until July 18, 2025.
