The National Program for Sustainable Consumption and Production is a Chilean initiative aimed at promoting more sustainable consumption and production patterns, decoupling economic growth from environmental degradation. The program focuses on resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the promotion of sustainable products and services.
Speaker:
Víctor Andrés Caro Castro, Head of the Environmental Information and Economics Division at the Ministry of the Environment (MMA).
PhD in Social Economics from the University of Valencia, Master of Applied Economics from Georgetown University, Master’s in Applied Economics for Public Policy from Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Economist and Auditor from Universidad de Santiago de Chile. He also holds a Diploma in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Buenos Aires.
