The Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce will hold the first event of its Legal Committee, entitled “The Dos and Don’ts of Artificial Intelligence,” a discussion aimed at raising awareness about the responsible use of AI within the current legal framework, both globally and in Chile.
The event will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., at the BritCham offices (Av. El Bosque Norte 0125, 2nd floor, Las Condes), and is open to Chamber members. The discussion seeks to address the main legal challenges associated with the use of AI, the need for order and self-regulation, and the current regulatory landscape in a country that is still debating a bill on this matter.
The event will feature presentations by Victoria Hurtado, a tech lawyer, Director of Microsystem SA, Advisor to the Institute of Judicial Studies, and Advisor to the Chile-California Council, and Sebastián Foldvary, HR Director for IBM Mexico. Both speakers will offer expert perspectives from the legal, technological, and human resource management fields.
Through a discussion format, the event aims to provide clear and relevant information that encourages reflection and motivates participants to actively engage in the debate on the use of Artificial Intelligence, thus contributing to more informed and responsible decision-making.
