Chile possesses world-class scientific and technological capabilities. However, one of the country’s greatest challenges remains transforming that knowledge into scalable innovation, investment, and productive economic development.
Technology transfer is no longer solely a concern for academia. Today, it is a strategic priority for strengthening competitiveness, fostering economic diversification, and enabling Chile’s integration into high-value global industries.
To address this important topic, BritCham Chile’s Technology, Innovation and Sciences Committee (CTIC) will host a strategic discussion focused on how to accelerate technology transfer between universities, research centres and industry.
The event will bring together representatives from across the innovation ecosystem to explore collaboration models, incentives, successful case studies, and opportunities to advance applied innovation in Chile.
