Scotiabank abre convocatoria a fondos concursables para financiar proyectos sociales

• Within the framework of its global community support program, the Bank will allocate nearly $350 million pesos to Chile in 2024 to finance social projects that have an impact on inclusion, employability, education or the environment.
• In the country, 15 organizations have benefited from these funds since their creation.

Monday, May 13, 2024 – For the fourth consecutive year and as part of ScotiaINSPIRA, its global community support program, Scotiabank launched a new call for competitive funds in Chile, through which it will allocate nearly $350 million pesos to finance initiatives that strengthen the economic resilience of communities and support environmental protection and decarbonization of the economy.
The resources will be allocated to projects of institutions, foundations and NGOs that have an impact on four pillars: inclusion and equal opportunities, employability, education and environment.
Applications will be open until May 31 at https://www.scotiabankchile.cl/Personas/responsibilidad -social-business/investment-
community-in-young people, where you will also find all the requirements to participate and details of the process.

More than 200 communities benefited globally ScotiaINSPIRA is present in the more than 30 countries in which the Canadian bank operates.
Since its inception in 2021, it has invested more than 100 million Canadian dollars in programs designed to promote economic resilience by helping to eliminate the barriers faced by disadvantaged groups. Thanks to the reach and positive impact, the prestigious magazine The Banker recognized Scotiabank with the global “Community Bank 2022” award.
Since its first edition, ScotiaINSPIRA has financed 15 organizations in Chile and benefited 53,952 people.
