October 16 ,2025

Santiago, Chile – October 2025.
The British-Chilean Chamber of Commerce (BritCham Chile), through its Finance and Capital Markets Committee, held the fourth session of its CEO Vision series, featuring the distinguished participation of José Ignacio Lathrop, CEO of Marsh McLennan Chile.

The event took place at the offices of Marsh McLennan, where attendees had the opportunity to learn about the main results of the Global Risks Report 2025, a study prepared by Marsh McLennan for the World Economic Forum, which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year.

The report compiles the views of more than 900 academic, business, and government leaders from around the world, along with the perceptions of 11,000 business executives on the most relevant risks to doing business in their respective countries.

Among the main risks identified were growing global divisions, armed conflicts between states, extreme weather events, and geoeconomic confrontation. Added to these are challenges such as misinformation, social polarization, and economic recession, all considered factors that directly impact the stability and sustainability of economies.

BritCham Chile would like to especially thank José Ignacio Lathrop and Marsh McLennan Chile for their valuable collaboration and for hosting this important conversation about global risks and their impact on the business environment.

The CEO Vision series seeks to promote strategic dialogue among business leaders on the trends shaping the future of business and the global economy. The next edition will take place in December and will feature Mike Bowers, CEO of Inchcape Americas.
