The Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce held the first 2026 event of its Legal Committee, titled “The Dos and Don’ts of Artificial Intelligence,” which brought together Chamber members to discuss the main challenges and opportunities that AI presents in the current legal and business context.
The meeting, held in a discussion format, addressed key topics such as the usability of technologies for productive levels within companies, the need to move towards strategic technology governance, and the importance of having leaders with a digital vision in different organizational areas. The discussion also delved into the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence tools in human resources processes and the relevance of studying these topics intentionally and continuously.
The event was moderated by the Chair of the Legal Committee, Paola Cifuentes, and featured presentations by Victoria Hurtado, a tech lawyer, Director of Microsystem SA, Advisor to the Institute of Judicial Studies, and Advisor to the Chile-California Council, and Sebastián Foldvary, HR Director for IBM Mexico.
