REP Law, Progress, Challenges and Perspectives
August 26, 2026
The Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Law is one of the main frameworks for advancing towards more sustainable waste management in Chile. But what are its main challenges today, and what’s next for businesses?
This Wednesday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m., we will welcome María José Ureta, Head of the Circular Economy Office at the Ministry of the Environment, to the BritCham Chile offices at El Bosque Norte 0125, 2nd Floor, Las Condes. She will discuss the current context of Law No. 20.920, the Framework Law for Waste Management, Extended Producer Responsibility, and the Promotion of Recycling.
The discussion will be moderated by Laura Landeta, President of the BritCham Chile Sustainability Committee.
This is an opportunity to learn firsthand about the main challenges of implementing the EPR Law and its implications for the private sector.
This event is exclusively for BritCham Chile members. Limited spaces available.
