The Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce successfully holds its 2026 General Assembly of Members

May 5 ,2026

The Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce held its 2026 Annual General Meeting at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, solidifying this gathering as a key opportunity to review the institution’s main achievements and challenges, as well as to further strengthen ties between the public and private sectors.

The day included the traditional luncheon, which featured the participation of Paula Estévez Weinstein, Undersecretary of International Economic Relations of Chile, who provided insights into the current economic and trade landscape, offering valuable perspectives for the business community.

During the Meeting, the results of the past year’s activities, the Chamber’s strategic guidelines, the financial statements as of December 31, 2025, and the process for the election and re-election of directors were presented. The minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting, the Annual Report, and other matters of interest to the members were also reviewed.

Promoting and strengthening ties between Chile and the United Kingdom remains a cornerstone of the Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce, fostering collaboration, dialogue, and exchange between the two countries, and promoting new development opportunities for the business community.

Also participating in the event were Christopher Lyon, President of the Chilean-British Chamber of Commerce; David Concar, His Excellency the British Ambassador to Chile; Elle Denton, Executive Director of the Chamber; along with directors and members of the institution, who reaffirmed their commitment to developing a strong and connected business community.
